Your Podcast for a Sustainable Tomorrow
The “Let’s Turn the Tide” podcast is a series by Veolia Near and Middle East, that explores global environmental challenges and promotes sustainable solutions through expert-led conversations.
The idea for the podcast was inspired by findings from the 2022 Barometer of Ecological Transformation, a survey conducted in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The results revealed a substantial need for greater awareness around environmental issues and sustainable development in the region. In response, Veolia launched its first local podcast to help bridge that gap.
It features discussions with experts, leaders, and stakeholders who are actively working to combat climate change, protect natural resources, and support the transition to a more sustainable world. The podcast aims to engage local communities and the wider public through accessible conversations on decarbonization, circular economy, water management, renewable energy, and more. It highlights innovative ideas, practical solutions, and real-life success stories from across the region.
